SiamVichien is a Himalayan & CPC cattery located in ChiangMai Thailand, the land of smile.

"Siam" was previously the name of capital city of Thailand.
"Vichien" came from the original Thai name of Siamese cat "Vichien Mas"

together, "SiamVichien" we specialized in Himalayan cat which were derived from the crossing of Persian and Vichien Mas (Siamese) for almost hundred of years with the exception of gorgeous blue eyes and coat patterns of Vichien Mas and the beautiful long fluffy coat, physical and characteristic from Persian. The Colorpoint Persian has been recognized as Himalayan since 1957 in USA. The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) considers Himalayan a division of Persian.

Starting from two breeders who has the same objective, improving the breed. One is fascinated with Persians, her Persians came from almost every well-known bloodline, Krungsiam Cattery (Rung). Another felt love at the first sight for Himalayan, her himmies are also selected from the famous bloodline, Purrisus Cattery (Fhar & Phol). We like the sweet expression of Persian and we thought also Himalayan should be. Finally we grouped together and gave rise to SiamVichien.

Our aim is to improve the Himalayan, adding them sweet expression by interbreed with Long-Hair Persian. The Colorpoint cat will be able to beat with Persian in show.

SiamVichien occasionally has some kitten available for suitable home. We reserved the right to choose for their new home and cancel any sale contract if there's any sense of dishonestly. Some kitten may required allowance for co-ownership with us.
